A padded internal layer will absorb excess body heat that would otherwise be lost and uses it to maintain a pleasant temperature inside. Elasticated cuffs and ankles help keep that heat in and the elasticated waist aids comfort. The full zip also stretches from the neck to the foot to allow easy dressing.
